Most who have used the blog appreciate getting to know what their child did in class today however, some expressed that it may be too long to read and want a more condensed format with the same info. So I'm going to try something new. Each day I will lay out what we did briefly. Next, I'll will included only a select few photos trying to show the diversity around the room (be patient with me on this one, I take A LOT of photos!!). Then, occasionally, I will touch on overall topics that could be helpful hints and reminders.
So for today!
- Daily Language and Spelling Review
- Reading Comprehension Activities: All Things Live Together & Brotherly Love
- Daily Math Review
- Continued skip counting skills - Students have now worked through 2s, 3s, 4s, 5, 10s as a class.
- Outside Combined Gym- Free time until all were out and then tag games as a group.
- DEAR- We attempted to do 30 minutes of our daily reading around the room. Some struggled with this and we had to reset our time twice. By the end we discussed why we have DEAR time as a school and a class. We then reminded each other we had to work on not distracting others with chatting and playing and spend that time on the book that we have chosen specifically for DEAR).
- Computers - Spelling City or Raz Kids
