Students were given their home project for this term. In Science they learn about sound and hearing. To demonstrate their knowledge of sound (Pitch, volume, etc.), they get to make their own instruments. The assignment went home today in the agenda but here is a copy in case it is misplaced (It's also under the VIP section on our website). Check out the video links below to watch clips of the video the kids saw in class that gives LOTS of different ideas using everyday materials!

Build My Own Instrument Due: March 16, 2015 |
On a side note, just a quick glimpse into our room. Today in LA, we continued our discussion of using describing words in our writing of stories. We are trying to use all five senses when describing things; sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. Here the students examine the best way to describe their gumball as they record their observations and findings.
