I wanted to share with you the wonderful comment left by our substitute teacher, Mr. Peppler. It speaks to what a great group of kids we have in class this year. I often brag about them to others, but it's great to hear others are as equally impressed as I am. I also shared this with the students and let them know how I appreciated their being so wonderful!
"I have taught a few classes that have surprised me this year, but teaching your class was positively shocking! Your students were far and away the best that I have encountered this year. Your class was so good, that when I tried to think of a list of students who were "stars" (ones who were the most positive role models for the class) I couldn't single anyone out. They were ALL respectfully listening and well behaved. They were ALL on task and focused on their work. They were ALL welcoming and full of advice to make my day easier. They were ALL really quiet in the hallways to and from music. Do not think for a moment I'm exaggerating when I tell you that this is the best class I have taught...for both years of my subbing in Drayton. You should be right proud."
And I truly am! Way to go 3K!
We continued with our hard work today as we re-wrote the poem "What to Feed a Dragon" with our own twists. Some students were even able to make it rhyme! Students were given the option to share their poems with us (and you!).
