As we head into the holiday season, the grade 3's would like to remind everyone to stay safe. They participated in the annual "Don't Drink & Drive" paper bag decorating in which they decorate the bags that will be used at local stores to help remind adults that they want everyone to return home to their family this Christmas. As we did this, we also took the opportunity to practice our song for the Christmas concert next Tuesday (as well as sing our other favorites!).
What We Did This Week!
- Welcomed back Mrs. Kelln and said goodbye to Miss Spueler.
- Finished our novel study of "Big George". Final project assignments went home today. Remember the finished project is due back December 19 so we can share it with others.
- Worked really hard on our fractions in math!
- Enjoyed the unseasonably warm temperatures out in the snow. Check out our snowmen!
- Wrote our penpal letters to our GREEK penpals. We will be Skyping with them on Monday!
- Completed a pastel Christmas Art "Catching Snowflakes" for the concert decorations
- Toured 3PK's Dinosaur Museum showing their final projects from their novel study "Cam Jensen"
- Had full run through practices of our Christmas concert! Please remember to come show your support on Tuesday night!
